Journey to the End of the Cul-de-sac (2022) is an excavation of suburban ruins, a challenge to the myths that construct the spaces we inhabit. For this body of work, I’ve recombined cast-off materials through ceramic sculpture, video, and Risograph prints, to comprise an installation that troubles the relationships between land ownership, mythology, and power. At the end of the cul-de-sac, I imagine a landscape where the mutants, weirdos, and rejects thrive, rising from suburban ruins to celebrate a new age of necessary collapse.
